Hear us, Pythoness of Delphi, in your fuming cavern.

Hear this prayer for wisdom, guidance, and foreknowledge.

Light the path of time so that by word and deed the Goddess, in all of her aspects, is served.

Be with us in this fortune casting; make clear the signs and symbols.

Incense offertory:

Priestess: I consecrate to the Norns - Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld - who guard the Tree from the wolf and the hungry deer – this Wolfbane – by fire, water, air and earth – to aid you in your ward.

Priestess: I consecrate to Cerridwen of the Cauldron, Oracle of Fate – this wormwood – by fire, water, air and earth – to aid you in your visions.

Priestess: I consecrate to Erda, prophetess of the sleeping earth – this Fumitory – by fire, water, air and earth – to awaken you from your slumbers.

Priestess: I consecrate to the Pythoness, who breathes the fumes of the fires of fortune – this laurel and hemp – by fire, water, air and earth – to inspire you in your visions.
